LINE Sticker Submission Rejected? Here's How to Fix It
Top 7 rejection reasons, with concrete fixes for each.
When LINE rejects a sticker submission, the reason is shown by email and in the LINE Creators Market dashboard — but it's often vague. Walk through the 7 most common reasons below, fix what applies, and resubmit.
Top 7 Rejection Reasons
1. Third-party copyright or likeness
Cause: Anime characters, brand logos, celebrity photos, or traced illustrations get rejected. AI-generated art that looks too close to a known work can also trigger this.
Fix: Swap the affected pose for a clearly original design. When using a friend or family member's photo, get their consent and avoid overly photorealistic output.
2. Content against public decency
Cause: Sexual, violent, discriminatory imagery — or strong religious/political content — gets rejected. Slang or offensive captions can also trip the line.
Fix: Rewrite captions or expressions to be neutral. Stampo's editor lets you rewrite a single caption, or you can regenerate a single cell with a regeneration ticket.
3. Non-transparent background
Cause: White or checkered backgrounds get rejected. LINE stickers require fully transparent PNG.
Fix: Stampo auto-transparentizes, but if you over-erased the subject, regenerate the cell. If you bring in a manually-edited image, ensure the background is fully transparent in Photoshop or similar.
4. Size or margin out of spec
Cause: Width/height not even, missing 10px margin, or file size over 1MB.
Fix: Use the latest ZIP from Stampo and this won't happen. If you're reusing an old ZIP, reopen the editor and re-download.
5. Promotion, contact info, or URLs in artwork
Cause: Captions or decorative text containing '@account', URLs, 'find me on X' will get rejected.
Fix: Remove personal account info or URLs from captions and replace with everyday conversational phrases.
6. Missing 'AI used' declaration
Cause: LINE Creators Market requires you to tick 'AI used' when submitting AI-generated stickers. Missing the checkbox triggers rejection.
Fix: Check the 'AI used' box under sales info and resubmit. All Stampo-generated stickers count as AI-used.
7. Improper main or tab image
Cause: Main image (240×240) or tab image (96×74) doesn't meet spec or has poor framing.
Fix: Stampo's ZIP includes spec-compliant main/tab images, so just use them as-is. If swapping them yourself, strictly follow the size and margin requirements.

FAQ
Is there a limit on resubmissions?
No, you can resubmit as many times as needed. But repeated rejections for the same reason can lengthen review times, so make sure to fix the root cause before resubmitting.
What if the rejection reason is unclear?
Contact LINE Creators Market support directly, or walk through the 7 reasons above by elimination.
Are AI-generated stickers harder to pass review?
AI use itself is not a rejection reason. But missing the 'AI used' checkbox or AI output too close to known IP can cause indirect rejection. Stampo only references photos you upload, so this is straightforward to avoid.
Does regenerating in Stampo cost extra?
Each main ticket purchase includes 1 free regeneration ticket (12 cells worth). Additional regenerations are $1.99+.
