How to Use Stampo | From Photo to LINE Sticker in Minutes

Stampo lets you create LINE stickers with AI using just one photo — or even no photo at all. This guide walks you through every step, from creating your stickers to submitting them to LINE.

Step 1: Start Creating Your Stickers

Head to the sticker creation page and enter the chat. Start by describing the kind of stickers you want. You can say something like "stickers of my dog" or "a cute chubby rabbit character" — just chat naturally.

A photo isn't required.If you describe your character in text, the AI will generate an original design for you. Want to turn yourself, a family member, or a pet into stickers? Just upload a photo.

Step 2: Share Your Vision in the Chat

The AI will chat with you to get a feel for your style and character. Tell it things like "make it cute and casual," "go for a manga look," or "sketchy doodle style" — whatever feels right. You can also talk about the vibe of the phrases (like "everyday conversations" or "relaxed expressions") and pose ideas. Even if you're not sure how to describe it, the AI will offer suggestions, so just go with the flow.

Step 3: Check the Free Preview

Before you buy, you can generate a free preview of one sticker. The AI will actually create your character and art style so you can see what it looks like. If you're happy with it, move on to full generation. Want tweaks? Just tell the AI — "make it a bit rounder" or "brighter colors" — right in the chat.

Step 4: Generate the Full Set (40 Stickers)

Once you're satisfied with the preview, generate the full 40-sticker set for ¥950. The AI automatically creates a variety of poses, expressions, and phrases — no manual drawing needed. Your complete set is ready in just a few minutes.

After generation, you'll be taken to the editor automatically.

Step 5: Fine-Tune in the Editor

In the editor, you can:

• Edit text: Change phrases freely — swap "Thanks" for "Thx!" or anything you like
• Eraser tool: Clean up any areas you're not happy with
• Regenerate: Have the AI redo any sticker you don't like
• Main & tab images: The icon images required for LINE submission are generated automatically

Edit to your heart's content, then download the ZIP when you're done.

Step 6: Download the ZIP

Click the "Download ZIP" button in the top-right corner of the editor. You'll get a ZIP file with everything you need for LINE submission, including:

• All files are inside the stickers/ folder
• Sticker images (370×320px / transparent PNG): 01.png through the number of stickers you selected
• Main image: main.png (240×240px)
• Tab image: tab.png (96×74px)

When submitting, extract the ZIP and use the files inside the stickers folder.

Step 7: Submit to LINE

Submit from Mobile (LINE Sticker Maker App)

If you're on mobile, the easiest way is to use the LINE Sticker Maker app (free), available on the App Store and Google Play.

1. Extract the downloaded ZIP and open the stickers folder
2. Select all PNG files in the folder
3. Tap "Share" → "Open in LINE Sticker Maker"
4. Enter a title and description in the app, check "Use AI", and submit

You can send all the files to the app at once, so the whole process is done on your phone — no PC needed. You can also track the review status right from the app.

Submit from Desktop

1. Go to LINE Creators Market and sign in with your LINE account
2. Go to "Stickers" → "Add new"
3. Set the title (in Japanese and English), number of stickers, and other details
4. Upload the sticker images, main image, and tab image
5. Enter a description (in Japanese and English)
6. Click "Request" to submit

Review typically takes 1–2 weeks. You can track the review status from the LINE Creators Market dashboard.

Tips for Getting Approved

• Enter both a Japanese and English title and description (submitting with just one language is allowed, but both are recommended)
• Don't use third-party likenesses or copyrighted content: Anime characters, celebrities, and other people's photos are not allowed. Always get consent before using a friend's photo.
• Transparent background required: Stampo handles this automatically, so you're all set
• No violent or sexual content: Stickers that violate the content guidelines will be rejected

Choose Between Paid or Free

On LINE Creators Market, you can submit stickers as paid (for sale) or free (as a gift). If you just want to share them with family and friends, submitting as a "gift" lets everyone use them without going through a purchase — simple and convenient.
